Grand President'S Message by Michael Rossi Buon Anno and Happy New Year. It's hard for me to believe that another year has gone by and 2008 is here. My Christmas decorations are put away and I'm getting ready for the New Year. Marcie and I are already looking forward to the installation of your new officers. I encourage all of you to attend the ceremony for it is truly an inspiration when an installation takes place. It tells me that there is a fresh beginning and a new optimism in the Federation. As we have done for years, we continue to enjoy the sense of belonging to our heritage and our Church. As brothers and sisters in the ICF, we renew our spirit of unity and try to make our parish and community a better place. In many ways, the Italian Catholic Federation is the perfect means for us to unite and remember who we are and what we stand for. It means work, commitment, camaraderie, heritage, faith, and fun. I hope you will be asked many times to come forward and do what you can. A family is not cohesive until each member contributes to its success and health. I am asking each of you to do your part in whatever way you can, no matter how small. Every member matters and can make a difference. All of us should do our part to give back the blessings that we have received. January is the best time to prepare our budget and calendar. Work with each other on new ideas and projects for our branches and districts. Demonstrate our Christian charity to our parishes and communities. If you focus on these good things we do, people will remember. Thank you for making the Federation look so good. This year please commit yourself to our larger ICF family, within the foundation of shared faith and heritage, and make the world a better place.
