  Harry PaciniGrand Trustee of the Central Council, and Life Member, Harry Pacini passed away on June 29, 2009 in Reno, Nevada. He was born on December 27, 1935. Harry leaves his wife, Charlyne; his two children, John and Barbara; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was a very quiet and unassuming gentleman. Harry joined Branch 335 in Pinole, California in 1981. He retired from the legal department of the Clorox Company and moved to Reno, Nevada, where he joined Branch 135. He served as branch president of Branch 335 as well as president of the Contra Costa District. He was elected to the Central Council in 2000 and became a life member in 2006. As a CC member, he served as Parliamentarian, Grand Trustee and served as chair of the By-Laws and Ritual and Public Relations Committees. The past two years he has given much time and talent to the Public Relations Committee, enhancing the Federation Website and doing whatever he was asked to do. Harry was very faithful to his church, family and the Federation. He lived by the words, "There is no limit to what a man can do, if he doesn't care who gets the credit." At Harry's funeral, Father Mike, his pastor, consoled us with the following:
You can shed tears that they have gone,
Or you can smile that they have lived. You can close your eyes and pray they'll come back, Or you can open your eyes and see all they've left you. Your heart can be empty because you can't see them, Or your heart can be full with the love you've shared. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, Or you can do what they would want… Smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
